Aamir Khan boycotting awards is something we have heard too often. Today, award ceremonies are not event worth attending and guess the superstar already had a premonition this will happen. But there was a time, when they weren’t as banal as they are today and in those times, Aamir attended them too. Yes, you read right. The Dangal actor attended an awards event in 1989, a year after his Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak became a rage. Don’t believe us? We have a video to prove our claim.
QSQT, as it was popularly known as, swept the awards night by clinching all the major awards including cinematography and music. Aamir even accepted the Best Screenplay award which he shared with Naseer Hussain. He even accepted the Best Cinematography award for the film on behalf of Kiran Deohans. But the Best Actor trophy eluded him. It went to Anil Kapoor for Tezaab. Although the video doesn’t capture his emotion for this loss well, we are sure he wasn’t too happy about it. Guess to put balm on his wounds he was awarded the Best Sensational Debut Award. He accepted the award and even said, “At last, I have got my own award.” It’s clear he was a fan of these beautiful trophies but the latter perhaps weren’t. Resultant? He stopped caring about them.

Actor Aamir Khan says he has ‘absolutely no problem’ in working with Sunny Leone if there is a good script. A recent interview of Sunny Leone created controversy after she was asked whether Aamir would want to work with her and she responded with a ‘no’.
“When I saw the interview, I was hurt. I felt really bad. I think if there is a good script and nice character, then I don’t have any problem working with her,” Aamir told the press on Monday while celebrating the 10th anniversary of his film Rang De Basanti.
“I have nothing to do with her personal life. She is a woman and I respect her. I seriously would like to work with her. I hope that she would also like to work with me,” he said.

Superstar Aamir Khan says he would like to work with the adult star-turned-Bollywood actor Sunny Leone. In a TV interview, which garnered a lot of negative attention on social media and flak from Bollywood celebrities, Sunny, a former adult star, was asked whether Aamir would want to work with her and she responded with a no.
“When I saw the interview, I was hurt. She was asked some questions. When she was asked about working with Aamir she said no. I was hurt by this,” Aamir, 50, told reporters here at the press conference to commemorate ten years of his superhit film “Rang De Basanti”.
