Despite having a pretty good career, Rani Mukherjee quit doing Bollywood movies a few years ago to get hitched. So when she made an honest comment to the media that she loved being a rich producers wife, the media went crazy with it. And then later when she emerged flaunting a baby bump, the internet went hysterical.
2. Mira Rajput – Shadi de Shahid
Both Mira and Shahid have a heavy following online and have found favour with hordes of online fans. So when these social media bombs got married there was bound to be an online explosion. Their marriage videos trended like crazy and the duo were in the spotlight for quite a while.
3. Alia Bhatt – Blonde For a Second
When Alia Bhatt went on ‘Koffee with Karan’ a popular talk show hosted by Bollywood director Karan Johar. No one expected anything but a drawn out boring interview. However, Alia had a blonde moment in which she couldn’t recall the name of the country’s president. The internet obviously went crazy with this info, postulating poor Alia as the blonde of Bollywood.
4. Krishna Shroff
When a few Instagram pictures of Jackie Shroff’s daughter and Tiger Shroff’s sister, Krishna Shroff turned up online labeled ‘Nude and Topless’ the internet went mad sharing the pictures. Truth is no one had heard of her till the images got leaked on social media.
5. Alok Nath – Culture King
Years of playing the culture infested fortress of morality character in Hindi movies has come to bite Alok Nath on his derrière very unexpectedly. 2014 saw the internet pick Alk Nath as the mascot for Indian culture based memes. Most of them are hilarious and worth a glance. Here’s one of them.
6. Rakhi Sawant – BFF of Bollywood
Rakhi Sawant makes it a point to make sure she stays in the news despite having very little to contribute otherwise. From fist fights with musicians to claims of knowing everyone in Bollywood, Miss Sawant stays in the limelight always. It’s her claim that she was BFF’s with the likes of Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar that had the internet in a tizzy to abuse her.
7. Anushka Sharma – Initially Wrong
Anushka Sharma has madde very few mistakes after arriving in Bollywood. From dating Virat Kohli to producing movies, this lass has shown some severe gonads when it comes taking control of her life. However, no errors are pardoned on Twitter. So when poor Anushka got the name of the former Indian President wrong in a tweet affirming her condolences on his death, Twitter made sure she knew how wrong she was!
8. Aamir Khan – Cry Baby
First spotted crying at the screening of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, the internet held its tongue surprisingly for Mr Aamir Khan. However, when he was spotted repeating the same act at the screening of his cousin, Imran Khan’s movie ‘Katti Batti’ the internet went ahead and christened Aamir a cry baby!
9. Asin – Ringin’ Envy
Asin has the power to not just up her trending potential but that of her hubby too. She was trending big time after the news of her engagement with Micromax founder Rahul Sharma broke. So along with Asin so did Mr Rahul trend. But then when Rahul Sharma gifted his soon-to-be wife Asin, a 20 carat solitaire worth 6 crores the internet cheered with amaze!
