"I began from 'B' evaluation movies, and today I'm the most obvious performing artist of this nation.

Bollywood on-screen character Kangana Ranaut said that while she has developed from quality to quality, from B-grade silver screen to being the "main performing artist of the nation", her counterparts "have had no development". 

After Ruler, the 28-year-old on-screen character has included in Tanu Marries Manu Returns. She will soon be seen in Nikhil Advani's Katti Batti, Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, Rani Lakshmibai and Simran. 

"This is only the starting. For a very long time I was battling and nothing was becoming all-good, and I didn't have offers," Kangana told IANS in a meeting. 

"I began from 'B review movies' and today I'm the most obvious performer of this nation. Though different performing artists, whom you may call my counterparts, have had no development in whatever stage they were propelled. They are still there and have not ascended to another stage," she included. 

"Alternate performers, who are called my peers, they began with a megastar. They were hotshots overnight, and are the same even today," said Kangana.
