Bollywood actress cum fashion diva, Sonam Kapoor has been garnering a lot of praises for the trailer of her upcoming flick, ‘Neerja’. Now we hear, that the 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' actress has bagged her first English single in collaboration with the British band, Coldplay for their new single, 'Hymn for the weekend'. The video also features American pop diva Beyonce, who has also lent her vocals to the track. When Mumbai Mirror contacted the actress, she said, "I love Coldplay's music and so does the world.
It was a huge honour to be a part of the video. It's a great concept and I had a lot of fun shooting for it." The 30-year-old actress plays a mystical muse in the video directed by Ben Mor. Sonam's sister, Rhea Kapoor, who often styles her looks conceptualised her look for this video too. A source in the report was quoted saying, "They zeroed in on a desi look with Sonam in a ghagra choli and wearing the traditional mang tika and a nose ring."
